BIPOC Coach Collective

Most people know that it's the founder of a movement that is most important. However, there is someone else who is often overlooked. That is the 1st person that catches the vision and jumps on board. In today's episode, you're going to learn the story of who has supported this collective from the start.

This month, we celebrate the Secretary of the BIPOC Coach Collective, Gwendolyn Rodriguez Siegel. She shares her journey into coaching and the shifts within her identity as a leader.  We dived into how her upbringing in a large family contributed to her professional growth and the creation of "Grandma Gwen".

Gwen also provides incredible insights into the origins of the BIPOC Coach Collective as we explore the vital role she played at its inception.

About the Guest:

Gwendolyn Rodriguez Siegel is a first-generation Dominican-American, born and raised in New Jersey and a DC area resident since 2007. She is a professional leadership coach and strategy consultant for entrepreneurs, organizations, and individuals who are looking to increase awareness of themselves and their impact on the world around them. Gwen has always been passionate about public service, having worked for an international economic development non-profit for over 11 years, and previously, working with different education organizations for kids ages 3-18 in Newark, New Jersey. She's especially interested in working with people who, like her, have experienced what it's like to challenge the limiting beliefs that hold us back from becoming the leaders we can truly be.

She is a mom of 1 sassy young daughter, wife of a very supportive husband, and member of a very extensive family with blended roots from the Dominican Republic to Niger (pnee-ZHAIR) and everywhere in between.
